Also known as the Museum District, the Parkway is the broad, diagonal street that connects City Hall with the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Philadelphia Parks and Recreation just launched Tree Philly as part of the Mayors Greenworks initiative to add 300,000 trees to the city by 2015. The city will be giving away thousands of trees to residents and business owners who can agree to plant them and give them the TLC needed to grown big and strong.
